When you're a technical autodidact and feel the urge to tell a story using moving images, independent shorts seem a safe testing ground. Sometimes you are guided by the character to tell the story, sometimes the seed for story comes from a contest briefing, but in the end the story just tells itself...

'Unbreak My Heart'

2005-2006 / Machinima Short / Animation

Wrote, Directed, and Edited an experimental Machinima film “Unbreak My Heart” (Music Video set against song by Toni Braxton) that was the only entry selected from India to be nominated and screened at International Animation Festivals including: • The Machinima Film Fest 2005 (World Premier, Screened at the American Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, New York), • Animago Fest 2006 (Germany), • FMX ‘06 (Germany) , • The Bitfilm Festival 2006 (Germany) • Animatu Festival 2006 (Portugal)

'It's Me on Me'

2009 / Advertising Film / Hewlett Packard & Youtube

Wrote, Performed and Edited Short Ad-film 'It's Me on Me' for the Youtube & HP Contest "You on You." Was short-listed to the top 25 selections from thousands of entries around the world, winning a special edition laptop from HP. Link to Film http://youtu.be/aVwPcrtCIiw
